When turning an electronic key in the ignition lock in situation 2 the control lamp lights up.
It dies away at the working engine.
If the control lamp lights up at the working engine, malfunction of system of injection of fuel, system of ignition or system of release of OG can take place.
Extreme parameters of release of OG can be exceeded.

When turning an electronic key in the ignition lock in situation 2 the control lamp lights up.
It dies away at the working engine.
If this control lamp lights up at the working engine, means the parking brake or in a receiver of brakes owing to leak of too little brake fluid is not released. There is a danger of accident!
If the level of brake fluid fell in a receiver below norm, it can lead to failure of the brake system!
Do not add brake fluid.
It is impossible to continue the movement.
It is necessary to address on the Mercedes-Benz station.
Control lamp of systems of safety of SRS (Supplemental Restraint System)
When turning an electronic key in the ignition lock in situation 1 or 2 the control lamp lights up approximately for 4 seconds. It confirms operability of systems of deduction of passengers (safety cushions, a natyazhitel of a seat belt and system of an automatic identification of existence of a children's seat).
If it does not light up, the long time does not die away, does not die away absolutely, blinks or lights up during the movement, then malfunction takes place.
There is a danger of accident!
With malfunction failure of systems of deduction of passengers in an emergency is possible. In exclusively exceptional cases also spontaneous operation of safety cushions or natyazhitel of a seat belt is possible.
Carefully continue the movement to the Mercedes-Benz next station!

Precautionary alarm lamp of a reserve of fuel

When turning an electronic key in the ignition lock in situation 2 on a speedometer the precautionary alarm lamp lights up. It dies away at the working engine.
If the precautionary alarm lamp lights up during the movement — address subsection "the Distronic System (DTR) of the Section Driving and auxiliary systems.

It lights up when turning an electronic key in the ignition lock in situation 2 and dies away at the working engine.

Control lamp of the ABS system
|
When turning an electronic key in the ignition lock in situation 2 the control lamp of anti-blocking system (ABS) lights up. It dies away at the working engine.
If this control lamp lights up at the working engine, means because of malfunction the ABS system is disconnected. In this case on hand there is a normal brake operation of the brake system without antiblocking function.
At malfunction of the ABS control unit there is a risk of malfunctions and other systems as, for example, the Parktronic systems, the navigation system and automatic transmission.
In case of malfunction of the ABS system the electronic traction control system (ESP) and the amplifier of emergency brake application (BAS) are switched off. Indications of the warning system and the alarm system of malfunctions appear on the multiinformation display.
Address on the Mercedes-Benz station for check of the ABS system.

At recession of voltage below about 10 V, on the control panel the control lamp also lights up, and the ABS system is disconnected. At increase in tension is higher than the specified value, the control lamp dies away, and the ABS system is ready to work again. |

Control lamp of AIRBAG-OFF
When turning a key in the ignition lock in situation 1 or 2 approximately for 6 seconds the control lamp lights up.
If it does not light up, means malfunction takes place.
The control lamp constantly burns when the children's seat with system of an identification of existence of a children's seat is established on a seat of the forward passenger, and displays that the safety cushion of the forward passenger is switched off. Indication of the warning system and the alarm system of malfunctions on the multiinformation display
Indications of the warning system and the alarm system of malfunctions for the following systems immediately appear on the multiinformation display. They are subdivided into three categories.
Category K1:
Notifications of the highest priority.
They cannot be activated by pressing of the button R on the control panel.
Categories K2 and K3:
Notification of average and lowest prioritetnost.
They can be activated by pressing of the button R on the control panel and then are written down in memory of malfunctions (Undressed the Multipurpose steering wheel, the multiinformation display).

At certain indications of the warning system and alarm system of malfunctions the sound signal in addition is distributed. At emergence of red indications of the warning system and alarm system of malfunctions the sound signal is always distributed.
Indications of the warning system and the alarm system of malfunctions as, for example, "TRUNK OPEN" (the LUGGAGE CARRIER is OPEN) do not register in the STORAGE display of faults. |
MALFUNCTION OF THE INDICATOR

If there is this indication, transfer of all information from the control unit of the engine is not possible any more. Perhaps, that the index of temperature of cooling liquid, a tachometer, the indicator of the Speedtronic system or a tempostat is faulty.

ACCUMULATOR BATTERY / GENERATOR

The rechargeable battery is not charged.
Immediately eliminate malfunction.
The break of a ridge maple belt is possible. In this case replacement of a ridge maple belt is necessary for continuation of the movement. Otherwise, owing to failure of the pump of cooling liquid the overheat involving damage of the engine is possible.
Amplifier of emergency brake application

In case of malfunction of the amplifier of emergency brake application (BAS) on hand there is a normal braking operation of the brake system without the BAS function.
WEAR OF BRAKE SLIPS

Brake slips reached a limit of wear and have to be as soon as possible replaced.
BRAKE FLUID

There is a danger of accident!
If the level of brake fluid fell in a receiver below norm, it can lead to failure of the brake system!
Do not add brake fluid.

SMART CARD (KEYLESS-GO system)

1 Check state of charge of batteries of a smart card (Undressed Locks, keys and locks. Smart card. Uniform lock).
2 The smart card was not identified at the working engine. Immediately begin search of a smart card as after switching off of the engine blocking of locks or start of the engine of the car are more impossible.
3 The smart card was not identified. If necessary driving is made by an electronic key.
4 The smart card was identified when blocking locks.
DISTRONIC system (DTR)

Electronic traction control system

1 At malfunction of the ESP system deceleration of power of the engine is possible.
2 The stabilizing action of electronic system
stabilization of the movement (ESP) and protivobuksovochny system are not available on hand.
3 After disappearance of supply voltage (a detachment of clips or discharge of the rechargeable battery) the system should be otjyustirovat anew.
For this purpose turn a steering wheel from an emphasis against the stop.
After that indication of malfunction dies away.

Inclusion and switching off of light of headlights then again are possible light switch (Undressed Switches).
PNEUMOSUSPENSION BRACKET

3 There is a danger of damage of the engine or catalyst. It is necessary to check immediately the level of motive oil (address the section the Precautionary alarm lamp of level of motive oil).
4 Recession of level of motive oil to a critical mark. It is necessary to check immediately the level (Precautionary indication of level of motive oil - Undressed the Multipurpose steering wheel, the multiinformation display and the Head Routine maintenance) and to make visual control on oil leak.
It is possible also that motive oil contains water. Check motive oil.
5 The system of measurement is faulty.
OIL TEMPERATURE (temperature of motive oil)
