There is a danger of traumatizing!

Glow lamps and holders of lamps can be very hot. Therefore before replacement of glow lamps wait for cooling of the lighting fixture.

You store lamps in the place, inaccessible for children.

Do not apply the fallen lamps or lamps with scratches, they can burst.

Replacement of a lamp of H7

the lamp is under pressure. Therefore it is necessary to put on goggles and gloves.

Headlights with xenon passing beam:

There is a danger of traumatizing owing to high voltage!

You do not make replacement of lamps on xenon headlights of passing beam independently. Charge work on headlights of passing beam only to experts.

Before replacement of glow lamps switch off lighting of the car in order to avoid short circuit.

Take a lamp in hand only using a pure napkin made of cloth without pile or similar material. Fingers have to be dry and pure!

Use only the glow lamps calculated on voltage of 12 V, the same type and the corresponding power.


Regularly check a tilt angle of headlights.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Open a cowl.
2. Squeeze the buckle and uncover the case-1-.
3. Disconnect the plug from a lamp.
4. Unhook the holding spring and take out the glow lamp.
5. Insert the new glow lamp so that the socle entered dredging of the boss.
6. Hang the holding spring and get the plug on a lamp.
7. Establish a cover of the case-1-and record.


Marker lights

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Open a cowl.
2. Squeeze the buckle and uncover the case-1-.
3. Extend the holder of a lamp.
4. Extend the glow lamp.
5. Press the glow lamp.
6. Press the holder of a lamp.
7. Establish a cover of the case-1-and record.


Passing beam, driving beam

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Open a cowl.
2. Squeeze the buckle and uncover the case (1 or 2).
3. Disconnect the plug from a lamp.
4. Unhook the holding springs and take out the glow lamp.
5. Insert the new glow lamp so that the socle entered dredging of the boss.
6. Hang the holding springs and get the plug on a lamp.
7. Establish a cover of the case (1 or 2) and record.


Lamp of the index of turn

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Open a cowl.
2. Squeeze the buckle and uncover the case-2-.
3. The holder with the glow lamp turn to the left and remove. Press the glow lamp, turn it to the left and take out.
4. Insert the glow lamp and turn to the right.
5. Establish the holder of the glow lamp and record turn to the right.
6. Establish a cover of the case-2-and record.


Xenon headlights

There is a danger of traumatizing owing to high voltage!

Do not dismantle a cover of xenon passing beam.

2. Squeeze the buckle and uncover the case-1-.
3. Disconnect the plug from a lamp.
4. Unhook the holding springs and take out the glow lamp.
5. Insert the new glow lamp so that the socle entered dredging of the boss.
6. Hang the holding springs and get the plug on a lamp.
7. Establish a cover of the case-1-and record.


Lamp of the index of turn

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Open a cowl.
2. Squeeze the buckle and uncover the case-2-.
3. The holder with the glow lamp turn to the left and remove. Press the glow lamp, turn it to the left and take out.
4. Insert the glow lamp and turn to the right.
5. Establish the holder of the glow lamp and record turn to the right.
6. Establish a cover of the case-2-and record.


Back lamp

8 — the Black socle:
Light of a backing of P 21 W
9 — the Red socle:
marker lights of R 5 W
10 — the Grey socle: marker lights

tail foggy light (on the party of the driver) P 21/4 W
11 — the White socle:
lamp of the index of the turn PY of 21 W (yellow)


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Open a trunk lid.
2. A covering take aside.
3. The holder with the glow lamp turn to the left and remove.
4. Press the glow lamp, turn it to the left and take out.
5. Insert the glow lamp and turn to the right.
6. Establish the holder of the glow lamp and record turn to the right.


Additional lamps of the index of turn on an external rear-view mirror, the top lamp of a signal of braking and lamps of a signal of braking

Additional lamps of the index of turn on an external rear-view mirror, the top lamp of a signal of braking (the 3rd lamp of a signal of braking) and braking signal lamps in back lamps are equipped with light-emitting diodes.

At malfunction or refusal address on one of Mercedes-Benz stations.

Partial sticking up of headlights

In the countries with the order of the movement different from an order of the movement in the country of the admission of the car to operation, it is necessary to stick headlights partially.

Stickers can be got at any Mercedes-Benz station. It is recommended to apply for this purpose only company stickers. Other stickers can cause damages of a superficial protective layer of headlights.
